Rosie Bennet began her musical journey at the age of eleven, when she was awarded a scholarship, funded by The Rolling Stones, to attend the Yehudi Menuhin School. Since then, she has performed at major festivals and concert halls around the world, captivating audiences with her distinctive artistry and wide-ranging musical tastes.
Now based in Belgium, Bennet brings a global perspective to her work, having lived in the UK, the USA, and the Netherlands. Fluent in English, Dutch, and French, she is as comfortable on stage as she is behind the microphone. Her popular podcast series ‘Fret Not’, which she both hosts and produces, has featured many prominent guests including Derek Gripper, Sir Brian May, Irina Kulikova and Jason Vieaux.
With over 125,000 Instagram followers and more than 1 million YouTube views, Bennet has cultivated a vibrant online community. Her viral interview clips with Sir Brian May have reached audiences far beyond the classical world, with May himself praising Bennet’s playing as “the best sound I’ve ever heard on nylon strings.”
