The Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra (TNSO) and their conductor Alexander Sladkovsky recorded an anthology of Sergei Rachmaninov's symphonic music. "The Tatarstan Orchestra is at the top of its form now. The musicians don't just play great, but they have become a single entity ready to solve any problem. I am proud of my orchestra. Therefore, our achievements should be recorded," Alexander Sladkovsky considers. The conductor avoids self-repetitions, that's exactly why a new project lays emphasis on purely symphonic opuses. The project’s idea is to show the evolution of Rachmaninov's orchestral style starting from his early music scores to mature works of the American period.

The anthology includes three symphonies: Cliff, Island of the Dead, and Vocalise. The recording is available here.
