The world's most popular classical guitarist John Williams explores the sounds of the Mediterranean with The Guitarist, an album of gorgeous virtuoso music that will surely become one of his classic recordings. The Guitarist features the world premiere recording of Williams' original composition "Aeolian Suite for Guitar and Small Orchestra". Highlights of the album also include the well-known "Gnossiennes" by Erik Satie, plus original arrangements of three Anonymous medieval tunes ("Lamento", "Ductia", "Salterello").
