The musical about a musical fiasco is taking New York by storm. Mel Brooks' adaptation of his movie classic garnered a record breaking 15 Tony nominations, including:

The musical based on Charlotte Brontë's passionately romantic novel has been nominated for Tony Awards, including:

Heads Up: The Man Who Cried soundtrack coming soon, featuring recording debut of tenor Salvatore Licitra
Sally Potter's new film, The Man Who Cried, combines grand opera and Romanian Gypsy traditions for a unique and powerful soundtrack, featuring the debut recording from Italian tenor Salvatore Licitra. Set in 1939 Paris, The Man Who Cried opens May 25 starring Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. The soundtrack hits stores May 22.

Sneak a peak: Joshua Bell's upcoming West Side Story Suite
Tune in to our exclusive online radio show Good Listening to hear Joshua Bell's new recording of West Side Story Suite, based on the Leonard Bernstein classic. Due in stores in June, the new album was recorded with David Zinman and the Philharmonia Orchestra and includes other Bernstein favorites. Josh will perform the West Side Story Suite with the New York Philharmonic in Central Park on July 10 for broadcast on PBS.
Meet Kristin Chenoweth!
The nation will soon know her as Kristin! (see TUNE IN below), but Kristin Chenoweth's new album Let Yourself Go! will hit stores May 29. Featuring classic songs from the 1920s, 30s and early 40s, this Tony Award-winner brings unique and witty vocal style to these old favorites. Accompanied by the famed Rob Fisher and the Coffee Club Orchestra, the album includes a duet with Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame.

Richard Danielpour's Elegies, in stores next week
Acclaimed mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade's father was killed in war before she ever knew him. Half a century later, she honors his memory in the world premiere of Elegies by composer Richard Danielpour. The texts are based on the enduring love letters from a husband (von Stade's father) to his wife back home. The new album rrives in stores next week, and also includes Danielpour's Sonnets to Orpheus featuring soprano Ying Huang.

Violinist Hilary Hahn's latest Postcard from the Road come from Germany and Belgium, where she performed eight concerts in nine days with Kent Nagano and the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin.
