CLASSICAL NEWS

On JULY 2, 2002, Sony Classical will release Salvatore Licitra's
eagerly anticipated The Debut. Come back soon to hear
the album and get more information. For now, read what the
critics are saying about Licitra's stunning MET Debut:
"A STAR IS BORN... A geniune find -- the real thing"
--New York Times
"Thrilling...the Tenor of Tomorrow"
--The New Yorker
"Licitra...scored the most triumphant Met debut in recent memory..."
-- Newsday
"Whenever Licitra was onstage, he had the crowd in his pocket
with a full-bodied voice and an old-fashioned Italianate sense
of lyricism... The audience gave him a star-is-born caliber
ovation, which the Met accented still further by turning up
the house lights."
-- The Washington Post
