Praise for Salvatore Licitra & Il Trovatore
"Mr. Licitra boasts a lovely tone... the sound half way between...
Placido Domingo and the...brilliance
of yesteryear's Giovanni Martinelli....This may be the
best-conducted Il Trovatore ever... a must for those who
want to know what's happening in the world of
Italian opera." -- Dallas Morning News, January 2002

Review of LA Variations -- Esa-Pekka Salonen
"His new anthology of orchestral works is so good,
you wonder whether he should compose full time...
The only predictable element here is Salonen's
conducting -- it's exemplary." -- Sunday Times
(Central Contra Costa), December 2001
