John Williams, the world's most popular classical guitarist, records on a period guitar for the first time in this new recording of Giuliani's Guitar Concerto in A Major, coupled with Williams' first-ever recording of Schubert's beautiful Sonata in A minor.

Guitar fans from all genres have a deep appreciation for John's unparalleled skill and artistry. This disc will be of special interest to early music fans -- Williams plays on a guitar made by Gaetano Guadagnini in 1814 for his first recording on an early instrument.
