How to use the Sony Classical website
You can use this site to find out about your favorite artists, the latest releases, and to discover and purchase new music. You can research a performer or composer, find out when your favorite artist is appearing near you, sample soundclips before you buy, or just browse.

Our site map can direct you to specific areas of interest and special online areas.

Our Homepage always features new and special releases along with current and general items of interest such as contests, artist links, tour dates, and news or special events..

Our VIP Lounge (FREE Membership) features full album and track streams of new and old releases, special discounts and giveaways, exclusive content, and much more.

The Newsletter section lists upcoming television, radio and online appearances by Sony Classical artists; links to special features on the site; awards presented to Sony Classical artists and recordings; archives of our email newsletters; and much more.

The About section includes this Help page, our Privacy Policy, Frequently Asked Questions, and the Suggestion Box where you can help us better serve your needs (and enter for a chance to win free CDs or samplers), as well as the history of the Sony Classical label, banner graphics, internships information, purchasing information and links to Sony Classical web sites outside of the USA.

    Browsing Tips

    • If a page doesn't seem to load correctly, hit your browser's "Reload" or "Refresh" button -- often a second try will load fine.
    • You can also hit "Reload" or "Refresh" to ensure you are seeing the most recent version of any web site page.
    • If you feel you're getting "stale", outdated pages often, check your browser's cache (or "temporary internet files") settings, usually located in Preferences. Most browser settings can be adjusted to check for new content with every page visit, every browsing session, or never. Cached pages and graphics will load faster, but aren't necessarily up-to-date. (Heavy browsing can build up large cache files on your hard drive, as well.)
    • To bookmark pages with frames (pages with different sections that scroll independently of each other), always save the bookmark from the navigation bar at the top of your browser, rather than by using your mouse within a section of the page. That way you'll bookmark the entire page rather than just a frame section that may not be relevant by itself.
